Jessica Rassy is a nurse with a passion for mental health and nursing leadership development. Holding a PhD since 2017 and a post-doctorate in 2020, Jessica is a professor at the School of Nursing of the Université de Sherbrooke and devotes her early research career to the use of technologies in adolescent suicide prevention and to improving the assessment and management of people at risk of suicide who present in Quebec's emergency rooms. She has already been involved in numerous collaborations, presentations and prevention activities at the provincial, national and international levels. Through her contagious leadership and unifying personality, Jessica has succeeded in overcoming many challenges related to the integration of mental health care in clinical settings and continues to exert a real influence on Quebec's health care.
