Kira Azar has been a pharmacy owner for 2 years and acquired her first pharmacy in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the obstacles encountered during this time of crisis, she was able to grow her business and acquire the clientele of a second pharmacy only 2 years later. Her main objectives were to meet the demand of her current customers and to create a breeding ground for new customers by offering the widest range of health services.
With a doctorate in pharmacy, Kira has been a pharmacist for more than 10 years, has filled in at more than 200 pharmacies and has extensive experience in the field of pharmacy and management. Through hard work and dedication, as well as a deep enthusiasm for interprofessional collaboration, with the ultimate goal of helping people and improving their quality of life, she has introduced new services to her pharmacy, including the innovative weekly blood draw project and the group prescription service.
As a clinician associated with the Université de Montréal, she is also involved in the accompaniment and supervision of students in the making and ensures that they are offered a place conducive to their professional development, as well as the greatest number of tools so that they are fully prepared to practice their profession as pharmacists and ensure the next generation.
