Quebec young professional

Caroline Girard

Caroline Girard, a young architect from Sept-Iles, heads the firm BGLA architecture | urban design alongside her valued associates. Founded in 1976, the firm now has more than 80 employees in its three offices (Montreal, Quebec City and Sept-Iles). Upon graduating from the University of Montreal in 2004, she was offered a job in a large Montreal firm within the design team, which quickly became a key position. In 2006, her love for the sea pushed Caroline to return to the region determined to share her passion for architecture.

As an entrepreneur, woman, athlete and mother, she strives to be a part of change and make a positive impact on the people around her. Through architecture, she hopes to contribute to the consolidation of Quebec culture and the improvement of the quality of life in the city and in buildings.
