    Kattam Laraki-Côté

    Kattam Laraki-Côté is a percussionist artist of Quebec and Moroccan nationalities. Originally trained in classical music, he has travelled extensively to improve his musical skills throughout the world (Guinea, Morocco, India, Cuba). On the Montreal scene, Kattam is a member of several groups and collaborates with renowned artists such as The Losts Fingers, Marie-Mai, Éric Lapointe and Lynda Thalie.

    With a solid experience with youth and family clientele, he created his first solo show "Kattam et ses Tam-Tams". This show was a success both in schools and in the Quebec and Canadian broadcasting networks. In 2016, he released his first album "De Tombouctou à Bombay", which garnered him numerous awards and nominations in Canada, the United States and France, thus giving his career a wider reach. In 2017, he finally released the English version of his album and in 2018 the DVD of his show.
